The word “Ichor” has its roots in Greek Mythology, where it refers to the ethereal fluid that is the Blood of the Greek Gods. According to legend, Ichor is harmful to humans and would instantly kill them if they came into contact with it.
The Greek Gods were also known to be immortal.
